Hello Art Lover
I am an upcoming acrylic painter from Cape Verde who currently lives in Luxembourg. I love colours and the symbolism of the details. As an emerging artist I spent majority of my time at the studio creating colourful and symbolic images that are slowly becoming my signature style.
In my paintings themes you will see a deep contrast of vivid colours, complemented by symbolic subject matters that are intended to awake feelings that hopefully translate into an “I honestly can relate to this”.
Living always in big cities, mostly on the so call “ghettos”, I have an uncontrollable passion for the urban scene, which is reflected heavily on my paintings . Giving you the feeling of a graffiti cruising the busy streets of the world by train, metro or bus.
My Art born through pictures and sketches created in my mind and on paper, influenced by past and present social interactions, books, music and dreams. It is the only form of liberation that I have, It is what slows down my spirit and calms the full extent of my soul. As a Gemini, my mind switch drastically many times, and I learn to embrace this within my paintings. Hence, my subject matter and colours might change drastically from one painting to the other.
On my journey I hope my paintings gives you a warm feeling and sense of peace.
